Ink Spots everywhere! Hello! I’m Gail Nobles, and you’re listening to the Ink Post, and I’m going to turn over to the music section. I want to take you way back to the 1930’s and 40’s to a group called The Ink Spots. One of the members of the group name was Deek Watson who told of how he was inspired by a fountain pen and how he had to overcome the protests of his fellow members. I guess that’s how the Ink Spots got their name. They were a vocal Jazz doo – wop group with a unique musical style. ……
